5th Master Sprint Swimming Championship 2027

IMPORTANT – Please read this document carefully before signing, and return it with your entry form

1. I am aware of the need to seek appropriate medical advice if I have any concerns as to the state of my health. No medical practitioner has informed me of, and I have no knowledge of, any medical condition which would make it inadvisable for me to participate in Masters Swimming or any other associated activities. Accordingly, I hereby certify that I am physically fit and well to participate in any such training and events.
2. I am aware of and appreciate the inherent risks involved in such training and competition, including the possibilities of injury and accident. I undertake always to conduct myself in a responsible and professional manner.
3. I undertake at all times to use my best endeavours to train and compete in a safe and proper manner and not to do anything which would expose myself or fellow swimmers to unnecessary risk of injury.
4. I further undertake at all times to take all reasonable safety measures for the protection of myself and fellow swimmers, and to inform the Referee of any concerns I may have as regards safety.
5. I acknowledge that the 5th Master Sprint Swimming Championship Organizing Committee, Indo Master Swimmers, Aquatic Stadium GBK Senayan, or anybody affiliated thereto, cannot be held responsible for any loss of or damage to personal belongings, and that I must take all reasonable steps against any such loss or damage.
6. I hereby agree to abide by and be governed by the rules of World Aquatics, as modified by the Organizing Committee and host regulations, and all other applicable laws and regulations, including the Aquatic Stadium GBK Senayan security and safety requirements. The One Start Rule will be applied in this competition, as determined by the Organizing Committee.
7. I fully understand that, under the World Aquatics Masters Rules, individual entries shall only be accepted from persons representing clubs. No swimmer or team may be designated as representing a country or federation.
8. Relays: age groups are determined by the combined age of the team members in whole years. Relay age groups are as follows: 100–119, 120–159, 160–199, 200–239, 240–279, 280–319, 320–359, and further forty-year increments as high as necessary.
9. Starts: an electronic starting system will be used. Swimmers who are unable to perform a dive start from the starting block may request the Referee or Starter to start from the poolside and/or in the water (push start).
